ezload
What is ezload?
ezload is a set of FreeBSD/Linux utilities designed to upload & download the
firmware from Cypress (was Anchorchips) EZ-USB devices (AN2131QC, AN2131SC,
AN2135SC, etc.).
Typically these devices are attached to the USB bus, have their firmware downloaded,
and then are soft-booted to reattached them to the bus with the loaded firmware
in place.
ezload was originally written to load the firmware onto the ActiveWire test boards,
but should work for other EZ-USB devices as well.
