What is ezload?
ezload is a set of FreeBSD/Linux utilities designed to upload & download the
firmware from Cypress (was Anchorchips) EZ-USB devices (AN2131QC, AN2131SC,
Typically these devices are attached to the USB bus, have their firmware downloaded,
and then are soft-booted to reattached them to the bus with the loaded firmware
ezload was originally written to load the firmware onto the ActiveWire test boards,
but should work for other EZ-USB devices as well.
- 10/20/08: ezload now maintained by Steve Franks; moving storage to sourceforge.net, sorry for the delay!
- 12/23/04: ezload 0.4.0 released, see CHANGES for details.
